PARIAH- SAFEHOUSES EP

Pariah is a 22 year old Scottish producer whose hands are dripping wet with London's Bass Music Scene.   For such a young fellow to emerge in the same circles Burial, Joy Orbison, and James Blake circulate takes some Ivy League skills!  This English student by day has been designing crowd crushers the last year and a half sprinkled with garage, funky, and all out party vibes. His EP "Safehouses" is out now on R&S Records. Keep on watch! You can check out a fresh pick off his new EP along with a jump off mix he did for Mary Anne Hobbs.

MOUNT KIMBIE- CROOKS & LOVERS LP

There are those that run with the crowd and those that create the masses. Mount Kimbie definitely falls amongst the latter. This two piece ensemble of experimental daredevils dive into realms that can only be experienced through the sense of sound. Taking inspirations from garage, dubstep, and mind altering auditory planes, Mount Kimbie is sure to rattle a part of your brain you quite possibly didn't know existed.  Is it required just through the action of listening that these songs will not leave your brain?  Why yes...yes it is required.  There "Crooks & Castles LP" just dropped on July 19th and absolutely consumed my thought processes for the last week.  Sit back in your favorite chair and bask in the creativity.  You can check a couple of wonders off the new album below and make sure to grab up their LP.  Let's get lifted! WE BANG- SMASH THE FLOOR

Not much is known about We Bang except for their almost instantaneous notoriety on the Beatport charts. Single man, duo, or trio? Time will let that unfold. We at Mintphonic know good music when we hear it and there new single "Smash The Floor" out on Play Me Records is dubstep gold. I have no doubt this will make dancefloors gyrate for months.  Enjoy!  (Beatport)

REDLIGHT FT. MS DYNAMITE- WHAT YOU TALKIN ABOUT!?

Well, well, well.....finally a release date has been set for this elusive big room crusher.  I first heard this instrumental about 7 months back and have been scouring blogs and forums alike to no avail for its ownership.  Oh Redlight....how did you get so damn good at not leaking tracks?  Did you learn some  prized secrets while running game in the Drum N Bass scene over the last decade under the moniker Clipz?  Whatever you did to keep the instrumental version coined "MDMA" under wraps for this long is surely about to pay off big on August 16th.  Wait...Ms Dynamite has jumped on the rhythm for some added vicious vocalism?  Damn!  I could really go on and on about how much I love this song but I'll let the music do the talking.  The moral of this post is be on watch and make sure to snag this up on 8.16.10 on MTA Records.  Big up!  (Beatport)
