The 21 year old London bad girl YASMIN has been causing quite a ruckus overseas since her first single "On My Own" dropped January 30th. She started as a Hip Hop DJ, whose buzz rippled hastily after being seen and contacted by PHARRELL WILLIAMS to play alongside N.E.R.D.. It's a delight that her keen ear and overall obsession with sound has led her on a natural progression to songwriting. Jump to the present, add SHY FX on production duties and Ministry of Sound for Label backing, and she's paved a clean road to success as a solo artist.

Beyond her iconic sex appeal, she is a powerful vocalist who keeps her message simple a downright real. Gentle yet confident in delivery, I can envision heaps of remixers knocking at this girl's door throughout 2011. Her first single has already received proper treatment from BURNS and STENCHMAN on the EP, as well as sure fire UK Bass treatment by ROYAL-T which you can check out below.  I'm really excited to see what happens in the future for Yasmin...it's undoubtedly looking bright.
